When submitting proposals, it is important to know that if the products you are attempting to build against exist on additional proposals in draft, proposed or revised status or are “removed” on another proposal you will be unable to build the proposal or the the proposal may not have all anticipated products available to submit against.

Proposals | How to submit a Proposal
Step 1: Login to the RevCascade Merchandising tool (https://onboarding.revcascade.com)
Step 2: Click on the Merchandising button at the top of the screen
Step 3: Click Submit New Products
Step 4: Review the “How it Works” page. **Note:This page provides important information regarding an overview on the proposal process and steps for submitting proposals and getting your proposals approved by the retailer.
- Click Let’s Get Started! button once you have reviewed
Step 5: Use the drop-down bar to select the desired department in which you are submitting a proposal against
Step 6: If your product doesn’t require to be shipped in multiple container types per unit, select “No, all items only require a single carton”
- Click Save & Review Tasks once selected
Step 7: You have now created a proposal number (which you will want to use for reference when reaching out to the Retailer or RevCascade Support for any questions or additional help)
Step 8: The Workflow Steps will need to be completed in order to submit your proposal to the Retailer successfully.
- First step, click GO to upload products
Step 9: If you do not have the correct file template on-hand to import products, you can download the template here, by clicking Download Template
Step 10: Once you have completed filling out and saving the template, you are ready to add your file here:
>>> Add file
>>>>> Click Schedule Import
Step 11: Your file will then be added to the Queue for import. You can click Refresh after a few moments to view your files’ import progress
- Once the file has completed import, your Progress should reflect 100%
- Click Build Proposal
Step 12: Click Complete Import on the following screen. This screen is to confirm the amount of products on the proposal
Step 13: You will now proceed to complete the Workflow Steps
- Next Step, click GO to Review Product Data
Step 14: Within this screen you will review all the imported products, pricing information, images, SKU Names & Descriptions
- You can also click on the bolded SKU Name to view all individual product attribute information from your file
Step 15: After you have reviewed products, Click Complete Review to complete task
- If you imported an item accidentally, you can remove the item(s) from the proposal by selecting the product(s) and click the Actions drop-down button and select Remove Items.. (make sure that the products you just deleted are removed from the file)
- You will want to click Submit Updates before clicking Complete Review to update the proposal
Step 16: You will now proceed to complete Workflow Steps
- Next Step, click GO to Review Attribute Compatibility
Step 17: If all products imported pass the RevCascade Compatibility Test, you will see the below confirmation
- Click Complete Compatibility to proceed
Step 18: Click Submit to (Retailers Name) once tasks have been completed and Proposal is ready to review for approval
